Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of Can I Run AI at canirunai.app. The service is operated by Can I Run AI through canirunai.app ("Can I Run AI," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions may be sent to support@canirunai.app.

Estimation service

The service provides informational estimates about local AI model memory use, compatibility, speed, context capacity, and runtime options. Results are based on public specifications and simplified assumptions. They are not benchmarks, warranties, purchase advice, or a guarantee that a model will run correctly on a particular device.

Drivers, operating systems, runtime versions, model files, cooling, power limits, background workloads, and publisher changes can produce different results. You are responsible for testing models and software on your own equipment.

Model sources and licenses

Links, names, trademarks, specifications, and license summaries belong to or describe third parties. Inclusion does not imply endorsement or affiliation. You must review the model publisher's current license and terms before downloading, redistributing, or using a model commercially. A catalog summary is not legal advice.

Shared links

Shared links are available only when server-side storage is enabled. A successfully created snapshot is public to anyone who has its URL. You must not place personal, confidential, unlawful, infringing, or abusive content in custom names or filters. We may remove snapshots, block abusive requests, or change the sharing feature to protect the service. We do not guarantee permanent snapshot storage.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass rate limits, enumerate private-looking links at scale, inject malicious content, gain unauthorized access, or use the service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

Availability and changes

We may correct catalog data, change estimation methods, add or remove models and hardware, or suspend the service. Live results can change when the catalog or engine version changes. Previously saved snapshots are intended to remain frozen, but uninterrupted or permanent storage is not guaranteed.

Disclaimer and limitation

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, hardware or data loss, failed purchases, license violations, or decisions made from an estimate.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms and disputes relating to the service are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of canirunai.app, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, while preserving any mandatory protections available to you under the law of your residence.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact support@canirunai.app and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue in good faith. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction where the operator is established, unless mandatory law permits or requires another forum.

Changes

We may update these Terms by changing this page and its effective date. Material changes apply prospectively from the updated effective date. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
